glass knife press is a publishing collective that publishes fiction that walks the borderlands between traditional genres. In July 2012, we launched with our first releases in electronic form. We will also be publishing selected non-fiction, including books on literary craft by some of our fiction writers.
A publishing collective, unlike a traditional publisher, does not have a hierarchical structure, but is made up of individuals who have come together with a common goal of overseeing their own independently published works with the support and resources of other independent authors and creators. glass knife press proposes a model between “self”-publishing and a traditional small press, which gives writers full control over their rights will giving them access to resources normally denied the independent author in exchange for administering similar services to other authors in the collective.
At this time, glass knife press is an invitation-only press and is not soliciting authors or other contributors.
